NEMA EOC Support Unit

The primary responsibility of the EOC Support Unit is to keep the EOC in a condition such that city personnel assigned to EOC duties can activate the EOC with no advance notice or preparation. When the EOC is activated, the EOC Support Unit will provide management and support services within the EOC. These services could include operating computers, operating audio visual equipment, managing paper work or other appropriate tasks. EOC Support Unit services do not include radio or weather operations.

The mission of the EOC Support Unit is described in it’s Mission Statement.

There are expectations and requirements placed on the EOC Support Unit to ensure successful execution of their mission. This is described in the EOC Unit’s Requirements and Expectations document.
